Overview

The Manager, EU Commercial Operations is a critical member of Velocity’s Commercial organization, responsible for driving operational excellence, supporting business development efforts across Europe, and ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of our commercial pipeline. This role acts as the connective tissue between business development, feasibility, clinical sites, and sponsors—enabling streamlined operations, strong data integrity, and informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Governance & CRM Management

- Partner with Business Development leaders in the UK, Germany, and Poland to maximize revenue generation and sales opportunities.

- Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of the EU commercial pipeline.

- Develop EU-specific analytics to support performance visibility and opportunity management.

- Update CRM records following BD interactions.

- Track active opportunities and proactively identify delays or additional site needs.

- Validate historical performance data.

- Lead regular pipeline review sessions.

 

Data Analysis & Strategic Insights

- Analyze performance data to support BD recommendations and client discussions.

- Identify patterns and trends impacting site selection strategy.

- Translate findings into actionable insights.

- Prepare data-driven reports for internal and client-facing use.

 

Site Selection & Feasibility Support

- Review feasibility outputs to determine recommended sites.

- Partner with BD to create strategic site lists.

- Monitor feasibility progress and escalate challenges.

Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Public Health, Data Analytics, or related field.

- 3–6 years experience in commercial operations or related fields.

- Experience in clinical research, CRO, or site networks preferred.

- Familiarity with CRM platforms is a plus.
